Wesley Rancher

 
 

Wesley is from Columbus, Ohio and received his BA in Geography and Environmental Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2023. His previous research experience was focused on quantifying lake change on the Greenland Ice Sheet using Landsat data, in addition to, a project with NASA DEVELOP, using field data, remote sensing, and machine learning to map invasive plant communities in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. Wesley is currently interested in remote sensing of terrestrial landscapes and modeling ecosystem change on different temporal and spatial scales, as well as investigating how machine learning could complement modelling inputs.
