Paul Pettus
hIS STORY
Paul is from Corvallis, Oregon and received both his B.S. and M.S. from Portland State University in Environmental Science and Environmental Science and Management. His M.S. research focused on predicting pathogen contamination of unmonitored streams in the Coastal Range of Oregon.
After finishing his M.S. degree, he spent several years modeling water quality and other ecosystem services using the VELMA framework (McKane et al) at the Environmental Protection Agency. His GIS and statistical expertise helped with projects that improved our understanding of land use and climate change on watershed pollutants, wildlife protection, flood control, production of food and fiber, fire, and the regulation of greenhouse gases.
Paul started work in Dr. Lucash’s lab on 2/1/18.
